Gymnastics Party Theme

Every year when my kids birthdays come around I love to plan the party down to the favors and color scheme. It's the natural party planner in me! I use Pinterest.com for a little inspiration Etsy.com, OrientalTrading.com, Partycity.com and other sites to put everything together.

When my daughter turned 5, we threw her a pink, white and gold gymnastics theme party at the gym where she has her gymnastics classes. For a custom invitation design I searched on Etsy and found an invitation I fell in love with from Etsy shop OTPartyPrintables. (https://www.etsy.com/listing/478977034/printable-gymnastics-digital-invitation?ref=user_profile)

I love the things you can get on Etsy that are personalized because you can keep them after as a souvenir. The great thing about the sites I mentioned is that a lot of them were pretty quick with delivery! I also made sure that what I purchased on Etsy wasn't coming from too far away so it would arrive in time. I ordered silicone bracelets that said Adalynne's 5th Birthday from Etsy shop, ImprintBazar; a candy bar wrap design to go with the theme from Etsy shop WithEnvyParties. (All the links for the Etsy shops are below with pictures.) From partycity.com I purchased gold medals that said winner and placed a decorated sugar cookie in each favor box. The favor boxes I ordered from orientaltrading.com.

For plates I found pink ones that said Happy Birthday in gold with confetti on Amazon. For napkins I went to the dollar store and purchased pink napkins with white utensils and a white table cloth to tie the color scheme together.

Now for my favorite part the sweets!! For the cake I went to my baker that I always use for custom cakes and sugar cookies, Sarah's Sweets(https://www.facebook.com/Sarahs-Sweets-267167590139118/) I sent her a few different images I had found on Pinterest and google and had her combine different things that I liked from each one to create my daughters cake. For the sugar cookies I selected the letter A and a star with the number 5 in the middle simply decorated in Pink and white. I ordered a box of Hershey's Chocolate bars from Amazon to put in the favor boxes. For a cake topping I found one I loved on Etsy of a gymnast doing a flip and customized it with my daughter's name. Click on the photos for the Etsy links.

I can't leave out the special leotard that we got her for her special birthday! Picture is below, we ordered it from amazon.com

**I do not have any affiliations with the websites that I mentioned nor are they paying me for mentioning them in my post. I'm just a party planner at heart always looking for the best deals and décor for my events.**
